Spring Into Smooth Skin!
It’s Spring, and that means bathing suit season is around the corner! Now is the best time to start getting your body ready for summer sun exposure and shorts weather. Laser hair removal is a common way to reduce or remove stubborn body hair. Imagine no more shaving, waxing, ingrown hairs, or razor rash!
Most people require 6-8 treatments, performed 6-8 weeks apart. People with light skin and dark hair are ideal candidates for laser hair removal. It is important not to have sun exposure or tanning (including self-tanner) before your laser treatment. Be sure to shave (not wax or pluck) the day of or the day before your laser treatment because we want all of the laser's energy to be directed at the root of the hair under the skin.

Prepare for some discomfort with laser hair removal, but it is manageable. Numbing cream can be used on small areas, but it isn’t safe for large areas like legs. Our Cutera laser has a cool tip, which makes the process more comfortable. Common treatment areas for men include legs, underarms, bikini lines, and back. Underarms can be treated in as little as 15 minutes, bikini lines usually take 15-30 minutes, and full legs take about an hour.
